A Few Words About Me
Working from Singapore, Goff built a world class print, design and publishing/printing operation in the mid 1980s and over the following 35+ years established his company as a go to resource for top tier publishers, photographers, architects and designers who sought out his services to create unique award winning products.
Goff established ORO editions and the academic imprint, Applied Research and Design, Publishing which is a new editorial platform that opens up a space for research-based publications within the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urbanism and Design at large. AR+D is focused on emerging dialogues between diverse modes of applied research that currently dominate a range of architectural practices. The imprint promotes the study of emergent spatial dynamics and regenerative design taking place across multiple scales and geographies in order to construct a new ground for both established and emerging voices to disseminate their ideas. Publishing research with UPENN, OSU, UMICH, Harvard GSD, HKU, NUS, UC Berkeley, USC, Univ of Virginia and many other prestigious universities, ARD has flourished as an important editorial contributor to the educational practices associated with design.
In the late 80’s Goff began establishing a working Farm and Tropical Sanctuary in the Kapulena district on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. There he developed the Hamakua Ecology Center throughout the 1990s which served as a destination venue for cultural learning center and he ran that project successfully until it was sold in 2005. For the last 12+ years he has been devoting his time to Big Island Farms.
