A Few Words About Me
Chef Simone Pringle (Chef Simmy ) the newest addion to our Big Island Farms family of directors. She hails all the way from the east coast and was born and raised in New Jersey.
Simone found her love for the kitchen and passion for cooking as teen serving her community and church family with Newark pioneer Pathfinder Club. Her culinary journey began, at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where she studied for a BA in Culinary Management. Over the last 9 years her culinary career has been filled with a wide array of advance cooking experience. Ranging from some of the Tri states best restaurants, Catering and sporting events, corporate catering , Meal prep, school meal plans and much more.
She brings her education and experience she obtained working at places like Rocker Center Cafe , Grand Central Oyster Bar Brooklyn , Planet Hollywoods Bucca Di Beppo, Levy Restrants The U.S Open Tennis 2014, 2015 , Dishes to go and ,URJ Crane Lake Camp we she severed 700 people daily. She also served a multitude of clients as a food allergen and dietary specialist.
She is certified in food safety with server safe and Allergery certificate . Has training in first aid and CPR from the Red Cross. She also serves her community as executive chef of her very own catering business Simmy’s Sensations. She continues to enrich her culinary skills as a world traveler in places like Spain , Poland , Hungary, Aruba , Ecuador, Mexico, and Italy.
Chef Simmy has been working to create sensationel dishes that help bridge the gap of our farm to table experience and education of holistic medicine.
