My name is Meleana Adams. My ʻohana name is Kalanikapuaʻinuikaleiwahea. I am from the district of Kailua, Oʻahu, in the land division of Koʻolaupoko. I am living im Hāwī, North Kohala. I graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo with degrees in Psychology and Hawaiian Studies. I am currently working at Kanu o Ka ʻĀina Century Public Charter School and have a strong passion for cultural education and ʻāina-based work. I have lead many Outdoor programs in Hawaii and I am looking forward sharing about the land and its history with my group this summer.
