They are the tiger shark, which cruises the island’s waters; Koa wood, found exclusively in Hawaii’s forests; and the delicious macadamia nut. In fact, Hawaii is the largest producer of macadamia nuts in the world. In a nutshell, here is what you need to know about our nutcracker:
• The wavy-edged Koa box is held firmly together by strong and decorative box joints. A wood divider separates the uncracked nuts from the broken shell pieces.
• The powerful tiger shark nutcracker mechanism is made of stainless steel to prevent rust while providing a lifetime of service.
• The shark’s hungry jaws are designed to crack not only macadamia nuts, the hardest in the world, but also a variety of holiday nuts, including filberts, pecans, and Brazil nuts.
